if i remember correctly that third magstab, doesn't make and incredible amount of difference, so sometimes i fit an explosive hardener on a whim, just to fill that huge whole the thorax has at explosive. I've used this setup solo alot, taken several drakes and never lost a cruiser fight, but i was using all tech 2......

Only closeup was a Garmon Style Ruppi(or dual 1600mm Cruiser Fittings) pre QR pure solo fit worked incredalbe but needet high skills and quite a bit overheating to realy shine. Last one of this I lost after forcing a Nano Ishtar into a fight, had him into Armor(Dual LSE fitting what is over 6k Shield with 80% Resists) but he had Neuts fitted and thrown T2 Ogre at me  .
Today with QR you will be better of with a Vexor, you will be able to deploy the Damage without aditonal Tackling, be more flexible with Range and can decide if you want to stay out of Web using Rails or in Web Range using Blasters\Cap Warfare to take Targets down. On top of this your Drones are even harder Targets for Guns because of the 60% Web. With the weaker Web the ability to deliver your full Damage fast with a Thorax(what was the point of using it) is highly reduced, even with Gang Tackle avaidalbe.
4x Light Neutron Blasters/150mm Rails, Small Neut
Scramber, Small Cap Booster, AB
MAR, 1600mm RT, DCU, EANM
Or swap the 1600mm with a 800mm + Small Rep and fit Med Blasters or Rails + MWD and stay out of Web Range. Tested this around Sissi a lot, worked out better than the Thorax most of the time, only fails on the inital Tackling if the Target refuses to fight.
